The North Central Missouri College men’s basketball team won a huge game on Tuesday night.

A big second half proved to be the difference in the contest. Sophomores Moses Harper and Brice Fantazia combined for 19 second-half points as the Pirates outscored Flo Valley, 41-28.
NCMC was solid from the free throw line, hitting 10-of-16, but converted only 8-of-22 three-pointers. Harper hit 4-of-8 three-pointers and 4-for-7 from the floor to score a team-high 20 points.
Fantazia scored just a pair of free throws in the first half, but came back to finish with 11 points. Thelan Shiver also finished with 11 points.
The Pirates held only a slim lead over Flo Valley at half time, 36-32.
The win improved NCMC to 18-9 overall. They will finish the regular season in Iowa at Southwestern Iowa Community College on Feb. 27.
