Chester D. Durrant, a 95-year-old resident of Silvis, IL, died on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at the Aspen Rehabilitation and Health in Silvis. He was a former Trenton resident.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in East Moline, IL. The body was cremated
Mr. Durrant was born on Nov. 18, 1911 in Missoula, MT, the son of Joseph and Edna Pearl Durrant. He was married on July 24, 1934 in Missouri to Gwenith Lewis, who survives. He attended school at Trenton.
He is also survived by an aunt, Eula Daniels of Trenton; several cousins, including Laura Sue Daniels of Trenton and Lovice Crawford of Spickard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Laverne; and two brothers, Willard and J.C.
