Larry Todd, a 51-year-old resident of Newtown, passed away 6:40 p.m. on Monday Feb. 5, 2007 at his residence in Newtown.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at the Newtown Christian Church in Newtown. Doug Fairley will officiate.
A visitation is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday. Burial will be in the Thomas Union Cemetery east of Harris. Services are under the direction of the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Todd was born on Nov. 12, 1955 in Milan, the son of Guy and Wilma Hostetter Todd. On Nov. 23, 1985 he married Kim Minear in Powersville. She survives of Matfield Green, KS. Mr. Todd lived nearly all of his life around the Newtown and Harris communities. He worked for Premium Standard Farms.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Aaron Todd of Kansas City and Travis and Tanner Todd, both of Matfield Green; two sisters, Linda McLaughlin of Powersville and Shirley Howell of Spickard; a brother, J.C. Todd of Cambridge, IL; and one grandchild.
Those preceding him in death include his parents; a sister, Waynetta Rogers; a brother, Dickie Todd; and three brothers-in-law Bud Minear, Leon Rogers and Kenny Howell.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for funeral expenses.
