Basil Blue, an 81-year-old resident of Livonia, died on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 at the University Hospitals in Iowa City, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007 at the Playle and Jones Family Funeral home in Unionville. A family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 7 o’clock.
He is survived by his wife, Melba, of Livonia; one son, Chuck Blue and his wife, Penney, of Livonia; a daughter, Donna Sue Blue of Livonia; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Friends Community Church of the Baker-Sparks American Legion Post 575. They can be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
