“Their guards were very quick and could really shoot the three,” Head Coach Steve Richman said. “I thought our inside game and the size of our guards really gave them trouble.”
Brice Fantazia led North Central with 13 points. Brandon Thomas and Caleb Moon each had 11 points. Robert Neeley and Jeremy Esry each chipped in 10 points.
“This was a good win for us because everyone contributed and Crowley Ridge was the best team from Arkansas we have seen,” Richman said. “Also, it was nice to play in south Missouri because Caleb’s family got the chance to see us play.”
The Pirates improve to 13-6 overall and will host region opponent Penn Valley on Wednesday.
“Wednesday is a big game for us,” Richman said. “We were very close to winning in Kansas City, so hopefully here at home, in front of a big crowd, we can get the win.”
