J.T. “Cat” Wagner, a 78-year-old resident of 1609 E. 8th St. in Trenton, died at 11:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007 at the Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, where he had been a patient for one day. He was a former Tindall area farmer.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at the Martin Cemetery, north of Tindall.
A scheduled family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Mr. Wagner was born on Oct. 14, 1928 near Tindall, the son of Luther and Edna Hurt Wagner. He attended Tindall schools. He was married on Feb. 8, 1952 at Trenton to Donna Shields, who survives of the home. They lived and farmed all their married lives in the Tindall community until they retired and moved into Trenton in 1990.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, John Wagner and his wife, Karen, of Princeton; three sisters, Norma Wile and Alma Lisle, both of Trenton, and Frances Wilson of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Jenny, now Mrs. Brad Griffin, Michael Wagner and Shelly Wagner; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Memorials are suggested to either the Martin Cemetery or the Mid-America Heart Institute.
