A senior at Lafayette County C-1 High School in Higginsville has signed a letter of intent to attend North Central Missouri College next fall and play softball for the Lady Pirates.
Raschel Hoeflicker is the daughter of Janet and Roger Hoeflicker of Higginsville and plans to pursue a major in social work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City following completion of study at NCMC.

An honors student at Lafayette County High, Hoeflicker has been active in the Future Business Leaders of America, Future Teachers of America, and both the Foreign Language and Drama clubs. She has participated in FCCLA and the marching band as well as attended Missouri Girls State.
A standout athlete for the Lady Huskers, she has participated in softball, basketball and track. Among her athletic accolades include all-conference, all-district, all-region and all-state softball selections in addition to being named to the all-conference team in basketball. She was named the most valuable player of her softball team during her senior year and earned best offensive player selection as a sophomore and a senior .
She has been named to the honor roll throughout junior high and high school and received academic achievement awards all four years of high school.
