Newtown-Harris had no trouble advancing in the Milan Tournament on Wednesday night against Grundy R-5. The Lady Tigers defeated Grundy R-5, 66-10.

The Lady Tigers led 34-10 at halftime and then held the Lady Panthers scoreless in the second half, 32-0. Kali Daum had 14 points and six rebounds for Newtown-Harris. Krista Abernathy had five steals and Jessica Huffman had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Grundy R-5 was led by Heather Vivone with three points.
The Lady Tigers moved into the consolation finals on Friday, improving to 8-6 overall, while the Lady Panthers were eliminated from the tournament. They will return to action on Tuesday at home against Ridgeway.
