Marjorie B. Brown, an 81-year-old resident of 2610 Princeton Road in Trenton, died at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, where she had been for one week.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Brown was born on May 8, 1925 at Wayne City, IA, the daughter of Everett and Blanche Moore Rockhold. She was married at Princeton on Aug. 14, 1942 to Jack D. Brown, who preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1996. After their marriage, they lived near Mill Grove before moving to Trenton in 1972. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Mike Brown and his wife, Robin, of Great Falls, MT; two daughters, Winna Eastman of Trenton and Carolyn Byrd of Bonner Springs, KS; two sisters, Lorene Frost of Casper, WY and Coy Hunter of Princeton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Rockhold; and a sister, Hazel Sparks.
