Elizabeth Laura Evans, a 28-year-old Smithville resident, died on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 at Smithville United Methodist Church, 501 N. 169 Highway. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at the funeral home, located at 108 N.W. 108th St. in Kansas City.
Ms. Evans grew up in the Trenton area and had lived in Blue Springs prior to moving to Smithville. She was a graduate of Longview Community College and attended Park University.
She is survived by a son, Justin Lee, and his father, Ryan Lee; her parents, Terry and Susan Evans; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kent; two sisters, Eve Nissen and her husband, Dave, and Ashley Evans; a brother, Matthew Evans; a nephew, Derek Nissen; and numerous relatives and friends.
Memorials have been suggested to the Justin Lee Educational Fund in care of Andereck, Evans Law Firm, 119 E. Main St., Smithville, MO 64089.
