The Trenton Street Department is accepting Christmas trees for disposal through Jan. 12.

The trees will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and should be free of all decoration. In addition, the city will collect brush and tree limbs from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the City Street Maintenance Garage at 1900 E. 16th St.
City personnel will be on site to collect the brush and limbs, which are the only items that will be collected. Brush and limbs from commercial venues will not be accepted.
