Resolution Is Approved

The Grundy County Commission officially passed a resolution Tuesday hiring Greg Bricker, an investment banker with George K. Baum and Company, and Jim Caldwell, legal counsel with Gilmore and Bell. Both will be working with the county on the law enforcement center project.

Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich also said the commission will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday with Bricker and Caldwell and will consider and act on the adoption of an order approving the delivery of $4,995,000 principal amount of Grundy County, Missouri Certificates of Participation (Grundy County Law Enforcement Center Project) Series 2006, to pay the cost of purchasing real estate for and designing, constructing, furnishing and equipping of a new law enforcement center and authorizing the county to enter into certain documents and approving certain documents in connection with the delivery of the certificates.
