Maude Marie Dickinson

Maude Marie Dickinson, a 101-year-old resident of Bethany, died on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006. She was a former Jamesport resident.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Jamesport.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at the Jamesport United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dickinson was born on March 1, 1905 in Harrison County, the daughter of William Austin and Ollie Mae Ogden Landes. She was married in Chillicothe on Dec. 23, 1929 to William Oscar “Doc” Dickinson, who preceded her in death on March 27, 1976.
She was a farmer’s wife and formerly a country school teacher in the Jamesport area. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Bethany and a charter member of the Pollyanna Club in Jamesport.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Roberson and her husband, H.A., of Bethany; a son-in-law, Melvin Shuler of Jamesport; a sister, Lena Watley of Overland Park, KS; five grandchildren, Debra Shuler of Chillicothe, Kathy May of Jamesport, Alan Roberson of Bethany, Linda Polley of Albany and Teresa Gingerich of Jamesport; nine great-grandchildren, Rachel Eivins, Natalie, Nicole and Nina May, Brad and Tiffany Neff, Arley and Emilie Polley and Samuel Roberson; and four great-great-grandchildren, Allison and Jarrett Eivins, Mason Heckenbach and Owan Samuel Roberson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Dorothy Shuler; two sisters, Dorothy Collins and Fern Holloway; three brothers, Hobart, Jerry and Jack Landes; and one granddaughter, Sherrie Lynn Shuler.
