Charles W. Endecott, an 89-year-old resident of Columbia, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at Boone Hospital Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006.
Mr. Endecott was born on March 26, 1917 in Trenton, the son of Charles S. and Mary E. Carnell Endecott. He was married on June 4, 1938 to Garnet C. Wilcox, who survives.
He was a member of the Lions Club and Elks Lodge in Trenton. He enjoyed rebuilding automobiles with his sons. He retired in 1982 and the couple did a lot of traveling, including trips to California, Texas, Arizona and Florida. He enjoyed helping people fix things. He was a member of the Missouri United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Kropf and her husband, Joe, of Overland Park, KS: three sons, Bill Endecott of Grapevine, TX, Rick Endecott and his wife, Amy, of Columbia and Ron Endecott and his wife, Marcia, of Columbia; one brother, Charles S. Endecott of Trenton; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters one brother and one grandchild.
