TMS Basketball Teams Host Princeton

It was a busy evening in the TMS gym on Tuesday as the Bullpups hosted four middle school basketball games with Princeton.
The TMS girls won both games and the boys lost both of their games.

It was a busy evening in the TMS gym on Tuesday as the Bullpups hosted four middle school basketball games with Princeton.
The TMS girls won both games and the boys lost both of their games.
TMS Girls
In the TMS girls A game, the Lady Bullpups built a solid first half lead, 14-6. The Lady Bullpups outscored Princeton in the second half, 13-8. The A team won, 27-14.
“This was a big win for the girls,” Coach Quentin Albrecht said. “Princeton had beaten us by 16 points earlier. This avenged their only defeat.”
Rebekah Capeder led the Lady Bullpups with 12 points. Lindsey Derry added nine points. Chelsea McCollum, Halie Brewer and Mariah Elliot all scored two points.
The A team improves to 7-1 and plays tonight in the Brookfield Tournament.
In the girls’ B game, Trenton opened up a 14-2 lead through three quarters, but had to hold on to beat the Lady Tigers. Princeton outscored Trenton in the fourth quarter, 10-2, but came up a couple baskets short, 16-12.
Chanel Pash led the way with 10 points. Abby Curtis, Kaylee Lickteig and Nikki Zuniga all chipped in with two points each.
The B team is 5-2 and will host Brookfield on Thursday in the TMS gym.
TMS Boys
The Bullpups fell in the A game, 31-18. Dalton Triplet led the way with six points. Keegan McGinness scored five points, while Trevor Golden, Austin Norris and Levi Silkwood all chipped in two points. Lucas Hahn scored one point.
The A team will be in the Brookfield Tournament tonight.
The B team lost 26-10. No individual scoring was available.
The Bullpups host Brookfield on Thursday for a B game.
