Memorial services for Charles “Chuck” Wise will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Private inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
Mr. Wise, a 77-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died at 1:36 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at the Morningside Center in Chillicothe, where he had resided since Aug. 30, 2006. The body was cremated
Mr. Wise was born on May 28, 1929 at Spickard, the son of Fred and Ruth Speck Wise. He served in the U.S. Army, then went to work for the Rock Island Railroad. He was a member of the North Missouri Saddle Club and the North Central Missouri Good Sams.
He was married on Sept. 17, 1966 at Trenton to Lola Jo Persell, who survives of the home at Chillicothe..
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Cindy Hamilton and her husband, Rick, of Rogersville; three step-sons, Mike Harrington and his wife, Marla, of Chillicothe, Milton Harrington and his wife, Lisa, of Bellvue, NE and Neil VanDyke and his wife, Pat, of Belton, TX; a sister, Wanda Louderback of Trenton; a brother, John Wise of Trenton; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Wise; and a sister, Waneta Campbell.
Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson’s Association. They may be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary at PO Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
