Virginia Mae Fuller, an 88-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Saturday,l Nov. 18, 2006 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel at Princeton. Burial will be in the Princeton Cemetery.
Open visitation gets under way at 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs Fuller was born on March 27, 1918 near Cainsville, the daughter of Judd and Cora Booth Craig. She was raised in the Cainsville area and graduated from Cainsville High School. She wa married on Dec. 15, 1936 to Ronald Emmett “Bud” Pickett, who preceded her in death on April 23, 1974. They lived and farmed most of their lives in the Mercer area, moving to Spickard in 1971. She was married on Dec. 11, 1983 to Eugene Fuller, who preceded her in death. After his death, she moved to Princeton to make her home. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.
She is survived by a son-in-law, Vernon Drake of Overland, Park, KS; three nephews, Larry Peace of Princeton, Jack Peace of Trenton and Earl Walker of Platte City; one granddaughter, Pamela Williams of Kansas City; three grandsons, Dale and Daniel Drake of Shawnee Mission, KS and Patrick Drake of Kansas City; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a a daughter, Sondra Sue Drake; two sisters, Lillian Walker and Lela Peace; and a nephew, Paul Walker.
The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church Christmas Fund.
