The field is set for the second annual North Central Missouri College Foundation High School Shootout. The three-day event will be held Dec. 27-29 in the Ketcham Community Center.

NCMC foundation director Steve Maxey says that 16 boys teams and 13 girls teams are currently slated to compete in the 2006 shootout. Programs ranging from Class 1 to Class 3 will be participating and a schedule will available in the near future.
School who currently have teams participating are Chillicothe, Gilman City, Green City, Hale, Lafayette County of Higginsville, Lawson, Macon County of New Cambria, Monroe City, Newtown-Harris, North Mercer, Plattsburg, Princeton, Putnam County, Richmond, Ridgeway, Trenton and Tri-County.
