Mrs. Urich noted that an application to receive an absentee ballot must be on file in the clerk’s office prior to the ballot being mailed. A family member can fill out the application for a voter who cannot complete the application, such as a college student who is not in Trenton. In such a case, the parent could fill out the application. Those wishing to vote absentee in the office must do so by 5 p.m. Monday. The clerk’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday to accommodate those who need to vote absentee.
