The poll was hopping this week as a total of 120 voters voiced their opinions when it came to Trenton’s best defensive linemen. Once again voters gave no love to (C.F.) Russell’s boys. “Sod” Harris and Donald Coil each receiving just one vote.

We are going to take the top six vote-getters for this week’s poll. Joining Harris and Coil on the outside looking in are Rick Koetting, one vote; Jim Reeves and Scott Serr, two votes; and Seth Cox with five votes. The interesting thing about this week’s poll is that all five defensive line positions are represented. Steve Marlay received eight votes as a defensive nose guard. Dennis Ratliff, nine votes, and Mike Stover, 31 votes, as defensive ends. Robert Noe, seven votes, would be the sub. Kyle Sharp, 10 votes, would play one defensive tackle spot and the top vote-getter and Reader’s Choice All-Time best defensive lineman, Rodney Roberts with 43 votes, would man the other D-tackle spot.
