Ten trophies will be awarded to winners in the 2006 Missouri Day Parade, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Judging will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 8:15 a.m. and all entries to be judged should be in line by 7:30 a.m. Plaques will be awarded to the winners prior to the start of the parade at 9:30 a.m.
Categories for judging include Spirit of Missouri Day (based on the theme, “Reliving Our River Heritage”), Best Antique Car, Best Classic Car, Oldest Farm Tractor, Best Youth Float, Best Business Flat, Best Organization Float, Best Matched Horses, Best Dressed Saddle Club and Best Dressed Horse and Rider.
Entries for the parade are being accepted at the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce until Monday, Oct. 16. Persons can call the Chamber office at 359-4324 to enter. Political entries are being asked to provide a $25 fee.
