CIRCUIT COURT
Division I
Judge Andrew Krohn
Robert J. Coppock, 39, Spickard, was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections on a charge of operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition, to which he had earlier pleaded guilty. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days and he is to be placed in an institutional treatment program.
Jameson E. Read, 17, 2304 Speedway, pleaded guilty to stealing: without consent and had sentencing set for Dec. 14.
Bradley S. Wilson, 26, Spickard, was placed on probation for five years on a charge of second degree assault, to which he had earlier pleaded guilty.
Casey J. Smith and Alicia Couey, both of Milan, pleaded not guilty to first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and had their cases set for Nov. 9.
Civil Court
Eric Lynch vs. Joanna K. Gard. A petition for damages from a motor vehicle accident was dismissed.
City of Trenton vs. Travis Hoggatt and Kristin Hoggatt. A change of venue to Harrison County was approved in the case, which involved breach of contract by the defendant during the performance of demolition work for the plaintiff.
Division II
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Harry L. Williams, 60, Bethany, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $32.50 and $56.50 costs.
Danielle M. Lee, 19, Bethany, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $42.50 and $56.50 costs.
Roy J. Rosenbaum, 19, Cameron, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance (the original charge was being a person under the age of 21 in possession of intoxicating liquor). Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year, with the conditions that he pay $104.50 costs, $10 to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund, complete 40 hours of community service and complete the Drive to Survive program.
Small Claims
Jerry C. Head vs. Jesse Capehart. The case, which involved a dispute over a purchase, was dismissed.
Hy-Vee Food Store vs. Patricia Betz. The court ruled in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $54.23, plus $75 costs. The case involved pharmacy charges.
Hy-Vee Food Store vs. Christin Murray. The court ruled in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $44.99, plus $55 costs. The case involved pharmacy charges.
Associate Civil
Jeffrey T. Mathews vs. Melinda J. Wilson. The case, which involved property damage, was certified to Division I for a jury trial.
William H. Bosley vs. Director of Revenue. The case, which sought limited driving privileges for the plaintiff, was dismissed.
