Bernadean M. Shreeves, an 89-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Saturday morning, Oct. 7, 2006 at Pearl’s Eden for Elders at Princeton.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006 at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens at Denison, IA. Open visitation is now under way at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Shreeves was born on May 15, 1917 in Kiene, IA, the daughter of Andrew and Flora Carolline Bramnger Less. She attended Winthrop, IA, schools. She had lived in Princeton for about 18 years. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, working there as a machine operator. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
She was married on Jan. 9, 1959 at Austin MN to Donald W. Shreeves, who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1993.
She is survived by one grandson, whom she raised, Robert Shreeves of St. Joseph; one half-sister, Jean Wickham of Woodland, TX; two half-brothers, Gerald Wickham of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kenneth Booth of Burlington, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
