The Trenton High School junior varsity football team beat Marceline on Monday night, 13-12.

The Tigers took the early lead, scoring in the second quarter. The two-point conversion failed. Ethan Bunnell tied the score at 6-6 on a 12-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Aaron Lowrey’s extra point gave THS the lead, 7-6. Mason Hilsabeck increased Trenton’s lead on a six-yard touchdown run. The two point-conversion failed, making the score, 13-6. Marceline cut the lead to one point on a 30-yard touchdown pass, but the two-point conversion failed give the THS junior varsity to the victory.
The junior varsity is 2-1 on the season and will host Princeton on Monday.
