The project will begin at Fourth Street and continue to the end at the junction of highways 6 and 65 at the east city limits. Sections of the project will be reduced to one lane between the hours of 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day and traffic delays can be expected. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in and around the work zone and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. on the Grundy County Courthouse lawn. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-November.
