Judge Steven D. Hudson
Pleading guilty to amended charges of driving a vehicle with defective brakes (the original charges were all speeding) were Caleb D. Perkins, 22, Green City; Brady J. West, 21, 702 E. 11th St.; and JOhn L. Jones, 64, Gilman City.
Dorsey M. Dean, 38, 571 Quarry St., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of driving a vehicle with excessive blood alcohol content (the original charge was driving while intoxicated) and was fined $500 and $104.50 costs and $10 to the Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund. He is also to pay $46 recoupment of funds.
Erin S. Wahlers, Jamesport, waived her preliminary hearing and her case was bound over to Division I on two counts of passing bad checks. Trial-setting was scheduled for Nov. 9.
Joseph C. Buchanan, Jr., 22, Sedalia, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to Division I on charges of non-support. Trial-setting was scheduled for Nov. 9.
David T. Gathercole, 42, 73236 Hillcrest Dr., waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to Division I on five counts of non-support. Trial-setting was scheduled for Nov. 9.
Roy W. Tobias, II, 26, 505 W. Crowder Rd., waived his preliminary hearing and has his case bound over to Division I on a charge of criminal non-support. Trial-setting was scheduled for Nov. 9.
Lora A. Vencill, 29, 1609 Main St., had her probation continued with additional conditions. She is on probation for convictions on charges of driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
Rickie W. Chaney, 30, Gilman City, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $104.50 costs, $10 to the CVCF, $60 recoupment of funds and $300 restitution to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.

Judge Steven D. Hudson
Casey J. Smith, 22, Milan, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $7.
