Scarecrow Contest Part Of Missouri Day Festival
First-, second- and third-place cash awards will be presented to the winners in both the adult and children’s categories. Adult prizes are $50, $25 and $15 while children’s prizes are $25, $15 and $10.
Scarecrows can be set up from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 in the Rock Barn and courtyard areas. Spaces will be marked throughout and scarecrows can be put up in those spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Judging will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 with winners announced on Sunday, Oct. 22.
