Princeton’s third win of the season was impressive on Friday night as the Tigers scored 35 points in the opening quarter, then cruised for the 54-8 victory over Tarkio.

Michael Ormsby finished with 206 yards rushing and five touchdowns. The Tigers rolled up 324 yards of offense while holding the Indians to 132 total yards.
The Tigers’ first score came two minutes into the contest when Morgan Duff caught a 68-yard touchdown pass from Troy Meinke. The extra point failed.
Ormsby scored his first of five touchdowns just 90 seconds later on a 2- yard run. Duff ran in the two-point conversion.
Cory Teeter scooped up a fumble and returned it 25 yards for the a touchdown. Storm Kinnison added the extra point, making the score 21-0.
Ormsby ran in a two-yard score with just over six minutes remaining in the first quarter. Two minutes later,the Tigers struck again, this time on an eight-yard run by Duff. The Indians turned the ball over four times in the game.
Ormsby scored twice in the second quarter on runs of five yards and one yard. Ormsby scored his fifth touchdown in the third quarter on a 30-yard run.
Tarkio’s lone score came in the fourth quarter on 16-yard run by Dustin Odil with 1:41 remaining in the game.
The Tigers are 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the Grand River Conference. The Tigers will play on their new field for the first time on Friday night. PHS hosts King City at 7 p.m.
