The Trenton Middle School softball and volleyball teams held their first home contests of the season on Tuesday. The TMS softball team blanked Gallatin, 16-0, while the volleyball team fell to Braymer.

Softball
The Lady Bullpups put the game away early, scoring 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning. That was more than enough help for TMS pitcher Chanel Pash. Pash went three innings, striking out seven of the 10 batters she faced.
Gallatin issued eight walks and hit a batter in the first inning.
Lindsey Derry had a single, a home run and three RBIs for TMS. Christa Tate, Katelyn Dillon and Alexis Whitney all had a single.
The Lady Bullpups host Cameron on Thursday.
Volleyball
The TMS volleyball team lost a pair of matches with Braymer.
In the A game, Trenton lost in three games, 12-25, 25-22 and 14-25. Kori Grogan had three kills and Shanna Baker had a pair of aces.
In the B game, the volleyball team lost in two games, 18-25 and 17-25.
Kayla Baker had four aces and Camry Halstead chipped in with two aces.
Both teams are 0-2 on the season. The Lady Bullpups play at Lathrop on Thursday.
