Dale Junior Shroyer

Dale Junior Shroyer, a 74-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. Pastor Guy Olin Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in the Princeton Cemetery.
An open visitation begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at the funeral home. There is no scheduled family visitation.
Mr. Shroyer was born in Mercer county on May 18, 1932, the son of George Elmer and Beulah Olga McClaran Shroyer. He was married on Sept. 3, 1983 to Velma Ann Campbell, who survives him of the home, east of Princeton. He was a well-know auto and truck mechanic who owned and operated his own business in Princeton for several years. He was later employed as a mechanic for Grand River Mutual Telephone Corporation of Princeton until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Diantha Hagan and her husband, Don, of Liberty, and Linda Fox and her husband, Kelly, of Surprise, AZ; six grandchildren, Ron and Randy Hagan, Serena Daugherty, Keyla Smith, Kori Malave and Krystal Overson; six great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Taylor, Cody and Melissa Hagan and Connor and Ethan Malave; three step-children, James Richardson and his wife, Nelda, of Tioga, TX, David Richardson of Columbia and Judy A. Korman and her husband, Bob, of Rocheport; four step-grandchildren, Michelle, William and Amber Richardson and Krista Molly Barnhart; one brother, Eugene Stewart of Des Moines, IA; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene; his second wife, Betty; his son, George Dale Shroyer; and a granddaughter, Tabatha Hagar.
