Class of 1934-1935-1936
The combined THS classes of 1934, 1935 and 1936 held a luncheon on Saturday at the Lakeview Restaurant.
Several letters were ready from absent members of the class of 1936, which was observing its 70th anniversary. Plans were made to meet next year at the same time and place.
Those attending were Florence Pennell of Ft. Worth, TX, Juanita Lewis Jones of Trenton and Lucille Fulkerson Smith of Brimson, class of 1935; Virginia Peery Tolle and Bill Petterson of Trenton, class of 1936; and guests, Eldon Jones, Maradyn Oyler and Nina Petterson of Trenton, Frances Petterson Mead of Mission, KS and Mary Shanor Goodwin of Ft. Worth, TX.
Class of 1937 & 1938
The THS classes of 1937 and 1938 met Saturday at the Lakeview Restaurant for lunch. Daryl Browning asked the blessing before the meal.
The afternoon was spent reminiscing and taking pictures. There were 23 alumni members and guests present. Russell Joiner reviewed some stories and photos. Books of poems written by Arlie Hamilton Gentry were given to each person present. A traveling goose made and donated by Daryl Browning was won by Frances Griffin and is to be brought back to next year’s reunion.
Bookmarks were given to each member present by Florence Newkirk and Judy Kesler. Everyone introduced themselves and where they were from. A committee of Daryl Browning, Russell Joiner and Frances Griffin was appointed to plan next year’s meeting.

Class of 1951
The THS Class of 1951 held its 55th year reunion over the Labor Day weekend.
The group met on Saturday afternoon and evening at the Pleasant View R-6 School with 74 in attendance. The afternoon was spent visiting and reminiscing. Refresh-ments were provided by Laura Sue Daniels, Maridonna Rhea McKee and Arnie Arneson.
Following the catered dinner by Penny Webb, Jim Moore acted as emcee, giving a memorial for deceased classmates. Door prizes were created by Linda Gregory. Winners were Bob and Betty Wimer and Charles and Juanita Chick. Jeanie Muff Jones entertained with a medley of songs. Favors were created by Donna Shields Wagner, Laura Sue Daniels and Elaine Whitt. The class also had their photo taken.
Class Of 1954
The THS Class of 1954 met at the Lakeview Restaurant on Saturday for breakfast and a short business meeting.

Class of 1956
The THS Class of 1956 met Saturday at the Lakeview Restaurant for pictures and a dinner. There were 53 class members present for the picture.
A memorial service was conducted by Robert Burkeybile for the 24 deceased class members and high school principal Ed Geyer. Deceased class members recognized were Larry Arnold, Barry Clark, Jack Boyd, Joel and Noel Breitenbucher, Tom Brown, Billy Cooper, Donna Covey Gadberry, Joetha Goodin, Arlene Long, Eleanor Marrs Lynch, Dale Moore, Roberta Brinnen Nigh, Giniath Roberts, Lucille Marlay Shira, Gail Southers, Shirley Stokes, Victor Swank, J.D. Terry, Donnie Urton, Rev. Stuart Whitney, Larry Williams, Paul Wisner and Norma Ward Schultz. Black balloons were released as each name was read.
Prizes were won by Phyllis Hess Evans, Gordon and Judy Joiner, Robert White, Curtis Scott, Paul Sayer, Robert Burkeybile, Lyle Pfeffinger, Gary Dunn, Dr. Phil McClure, Alice Gardner McKinney and Willa Hull Harrington.
Honored guests were Tom Brown and Louis Pushkarsky, former teachers. Tom Brown was unable to attend, however, Gordon Joiner read a background on Tom Brown. Louis Pushkarsky was introduced by Doug Findley.

A picnic was held at the home of Dr. Phil and Marily McClure on Sunday.
Class of 1966
Twenty-six members of the Trenton High School Class of 1966 met on Saturday evening to celebrate their 40-year class reunion.
The group enjoyed a catered dinner and program at the Ketcham Community Center on the NCMC campus. Steve Maxey served as master of ceremonies for the evening. Dr. J. Michael Ritze gave the invocation followed by the listing of eight classmates who had passed away since high school graduation. Class members joined hands pausing to remember their classmates, both living and deceased, who were absent from the celebration. A large table held elementary, junior high and high school photos along with scrapbooks from junior high and high school years. Taped music from the 1960’s was played while guests arrived.
A casual country barbecue was catered by Mary and Chuck Langewisch. Tables were decorated with vintage tablecloths and centered with gold potted mums in black and gold decorative bags. Maxey welcomed the group and led discussion on both the 45-year reunion, scheduled for 2011, and plans for the 60th birthday of class members, scheduled for the summer of 2008.
Barbara Shockey Hawkins and Carol Moore Reger led games for the group, including a trip down memory lane at THS and a 1960’s version of “Name That Tune.” Class members then introduced themselves, their guests and briefly shared their current occupations, family and current residence.
