Osie Fern Walker, a 94-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, where she had resided since Nov. 9, 2005.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Alpha Cemetery near Laredo.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o’clock tonight (Friday, Sept. 1, 2006) at the mortuary.
Mrs. Walker was born on Feb. 23, 1912 in Hickory County, the daughter of Andrew James and America D. Agee Reed. She was married on June 25, 1932 to Bonnie G. Walker, who preceded her in death in November of 1972. After their marriage, the couple lived in Laredo until moving to Trenton in 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Veda Stuart and Mildred Hammond of Trenton; two sons, Roy Walker of Holt and L.J. Walker of Phoenix, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Carl Walker; a daughter, Velma Clark; three brothers; and one sister.
