Funeral services for Irene Cooley will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006 at the Souls Harbor Church of God in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery.

A family visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. General visitation in under way at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Mrs. Cooley, a 79-year-old resident of 200 Crescent Drive in Chillicothe, died early Wednesday morning, Aug. 30, 2006 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Mrs. Cooley was born on Nov 29, 1926 at Harris, the daughter of Edd and Elda Deeds Pauley. She attended Harris schools. She was married to John Cooley on May 9, 1943 at Trenton. After their marriage, they moved to Chillicothe. Over the years she has sold Avon, was a real estate agent and worked for the glove factory. She enjoyed hiking, fishing, art work and crocheting.
She was a member of the Souls Harbor Church of God in Chillicothe.
Mrs. Cooley is survived by a daughter, Margie, now Mrs. Larry Alexander of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
