Ann Snyder, an 80-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Monday morning, Aug. 28, 2006 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, where she had been a patient for two days.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Snyder was born on Jan. 14, 1926 at Chillicothe, the daughter of Cordyon and Minta Hunt. She was raised at Chillicothe and graduated from Chillicothe High School. She was married on June 9, 1946 at St. Louis to Ralph Snyder, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. They lived in Chillicothe and Trenton all their married lives. Mrs. Snyder had worked for banks in Chillicothe for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by two daughters, Arveta, now Mrs. Rick Carver of Galt, and Cora, now Mrs. Kenneth Gibson of Trenton; two sons, Ralph Snyder of Liberty and Joe Snyder of Newtown; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Veatch; two grandsons; and a grandson-in-law, Aaron Hullinger.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
