Tri-County Students Return To School

Classes began Monday in the Tri-County R-7 School District at Jamesport, with 210 students enrolled on the first day, down two students from the first day last year.

There were 102 students enrolled in grades kindergarten through six, with 108 enrolled at the high school building in grades seven through 12. Enrollment, by grade, is kindergarten, 16; first grade, 17; second grade, 16; third grade, 16; fourth grade, 8; fifth grade, 16; sixth grade, 13; seventh grade, 20; eighth grade, 23; ninth grade, 15; 10th grade, 21; 11th grade, 13; and 12th grade, 16.
Classes in Trenton R-9, Newtown-Harris, Princeton R-5 and Gilman City school districts begin on Wednesday.
