Mrs. Moore, an 86-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 3:37 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, where she had resided since Aug. 16, 1993.
Mrs. Moore was born on Oct. 12, 1919 near Tarkio, the daughter of Ben and Bessie Shelby Hurst. She was married at Trenton on Oct. 3, 1942 to Harold Lewis Moore, who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1990. They farmed all their married lives in the Forks of the River community northwest of Trenton. She was a member of the Hatton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Moore, Dennis Moore and his wife, Barbara, and Dwight Moore and his wife, April, all of Trenton; two brothers, Leslie Hurst of Scottsdale, AZ, and Randall Hurst of Lilburn, GA; a sister, Mary Anne Downing of Arlington, TX; four grandchildren, Dale Moore, Jennifer Wescott, Janice Schmidt and Brent Moore; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Palmer Hurst, and a granddaughter, Sandy Moore.
The family suggests memorials to the Hatton Chapel United Methodist Church.
