The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 10 at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance changing zoning for Jim Bush on property he owns at 5009 Manor Drive, an ordinance amending the miscellaneous offenses ordinance to include a section on possession or control of marijuana, an ordinance amending the miscellaneous offenses ordinance to include a section on possession or control of drug paraphanalia, a resolution stating the city’s intent to apply for the DREAM Initiative through the Department of Economic Development, a resolution allowing TMU to enter into a cost-share agreement and a utility agreement with Grundy County, a resolution allowing the Board of Public Works to hire the law firm of Gilmore and Bell of Kansas City as bond counsel, a resolution showing support of the original plan for Highway 6 and to retain eight-foot shoulders on the entire route as well as removing four hills on Highway 6 east of Gallatin, a resolution authorizing the Board of Public Works to contract with Burns and McDonnell for cleanup at the south substation and discussion of the Harris Avenue stormsewer.
