William Kenneth Ratliff, a 68-year-old resident of Grapeview, WA, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at the home of his sister in Poulsbo, WA.  

Mr. Ratliff was born on March 27, 1938 in Melbourne, the son of Oden William and Darlene Sylva Meek Ratliff. He attended Melbourne and Gilman City schools until his father moved the family to Springfield, OR in 1954.   He attended high school in Thurston. He served four years in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic and later worked in the construction business with his father and brothers.

He is survived by five children, Linda, William Jr., Debbie, Kimberly and Contessa; one sister, Cherryl Francklin of Poulsbo; one brother, Roy Ratliff of Maple Valley, WA; eight step-children; 37 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and by an uncle and several cousins in the Trenton area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene; his parents; one brother, Wilbur Keith “Chick” Ratliff; and his grandparents.
