Winona F. Vanderflute, a 76-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Shelburne Baptist Church, southwest of Trenton. Brad Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the Shelburne Cemetery.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Vanderflute was born on Jan. 29, 1930 in Jamesport, the daughter of Gaylord and Ethel Beaman Caselman. She attended Trenton and Grundy County schools. She lived in South Dakota, Cameron and then moved back to Trenton. She worked as a nurse at the Hyland Nursing Home in Gallatin.
She was married to Harold Neff at Trenton.
She is survived by one daughter, Donnzetta Prewitt and her husband, Maurice, of Trenton; one son, Harold Neff and his wife, Marie, of Gilman City; two granddaughters, Lora Prewitt and Marla Prewitt; four great-grandsons, Kenny Neff, Harold Lee Neff, Nick Steinhurst and Tyson Persinger; one brother, Edward Caselman and his wife, Drucilla, of Trenton; and two sisters, Aline Hamilton of Kimberling City and Karen Ray and her husband, Mark, of Chattanooga, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Loretta Neff; two brothers, Kenneth Caselman and Wesley Caselman; and one grandson, Jimmy Neff.
