Thomas Stuart Rash, an, 83-year-old resident of Braymer, died at 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the North Kansas City Hospital.

Thomas Stuart Rash, an, 83-year-old resident of Braymer, died at 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the North Kansas City Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the Mead-Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer.
Mr. Rash was born on Nov. 27, 1922, the son of Thomas and Beulah Rice of Rock Port. On June 3, 1943 he was married in Newberry SC to Docia Miller, who survives of the home.
Mr. Rash was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Tank Corp in the European Theater. He farmed many years in the Braymer area and was a contract mailcarrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was active in community affairs and in the VFW.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nita Bloss of Trenton and Rita Hussey of Columbia; three grandchildren, Darin Hussey of Columbia, Eddie Denham of St. Charles and Alan Denham of Springfield; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas Marion; and an infant granddaughter, Docia McIntyre.
