Lee Clark, a 79-year-old resident of 1803 Carnes St. in Trenton, died at 10:23 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the mortuary, with the Rosary to be read at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Clark was born on Jan. 3, 1927 at Jackson in Cape Girardeau County, the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Davis Reitzel. She was raised at Jackson and was married on May 13, 1950 at Evansville, IN to R.G. Clark, who survives of the home. They moved to Trenton in 1955. She was employed most of her life in the health care field, working at nursing homes and Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. She graduated in 1968 from Trenton Junior College with a degree as an LPN and was employed by Wright Memorial Hospital until her retirement.
She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Trenton and had been a Lady Elk and CutbScout leader.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard Clark and his wife, Donna, of Trenton; two daughters, Sondra Meeker and her husband, Marvin, of Trenton and Tonia Schipull and her husband, Rod, of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Jeff Corbin and his wife, Tami, of Trenton, Derek Clark and his wife, Jennifer, of Washington, MO and Whitney Schipull of Glendale, AZ; four step-grandchildren, Sara McGuire and her husband, Devin, of Brimson, and Jason, Jeff and Tiffany Browning of Trenton; one great-grandson, Chad Corbin of Trenton; and four step-great-grandchildren, D.J. and Brian McGuire of Brimson and Mercedes and Braxton Borders of Trenton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmen Long and Betty Heise; and one brother, Claude Reitzel.
The family has suggested memorials to the Wright Memorial Hospice or the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
