Nellie Mae Pettis, a 91-year-old resident of the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Savannah, died at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the nursing home. She was a former longtime Trenton resident.

Nellie Mae Pettis, a 91-year-old resident of the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Savannah, died at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the nursing home. She was a former longtime Trenton resident.

Funeral services are pending at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.

She is survived by a son, Larry Pettis, and his wife, Lois, and a grandson, Logan Gene Pettis, all of St. Joseph.
