Not every voter in Grundy County will have an election in which to cast a ballot this April. Residents living in the following voting districts will not have an issue on the ballot:

Not every voter in Grundy County will have an election in which to cast a ballot this April. Residents living in the following voting districts will not have an issue on the ballot:

• Myers Township. All school and fire districts have certified a non-election, meaning there can be no write-in candidates. No one from Myers Township will need to go to the polls on April 4.

• Jackson Township -No election if located in the Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District.

• Lincoln Township -No election if in the Pleasant View R-6 School District.

• Washington Township- No election if in the Spickard School District.

• Marion Township – No election if in both the Pleasant View R-6 School District and the Galt Fire Protection District.

• Trenton Third Ward – No election if in the Pleasant View R-6 School District.

• Trenton Fourth Ward – No election if in the Pleasant View R-6 School District and outside the Trenton city limits.

• Franklin Township -No election if located in the Spickard School District and outside the Spickard city limits.

• Liberty Township – Anyone living inside the Galt city limits will have an election; those who live outside the Galt city limits will only have an election if they live in the Trenton R-9 School District.

Persons not sure which districts in which they reside should look at their voter registration cards, which includes that information.
