Eileen B. Ham, a 99-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Friday, morning, March 3, 2006 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2006 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Rev. Mike Moore officiated. Burial was at the Willis Chapel Cemetery, north of Brimson.

Mrs. Ham was born on Nov. 20, 1906 in Melbourne, the daughter of George Franklin and Lillie May King Nikerson. She attended Gilman City and Grundy County schools. She was a member of Tindall Christian Church in Tindall and the Here And There Club.

She was married on Nov. 4, 1932 at Trenton to George Ham, who preceded her in death on Feb. 23,1976.

She is survived by one sister, Lucy Claycomb and her husband, Charles, of Lee’s Summit; two nieces, Donna Wagoner of Trenton and Cindy Transue of Phoenix, AZ; four nephews, Charles Shields of Independence, Jerry Claycomb of St. Louis, Tony Claycomb of Kansas City and Bob Ham of San Diego, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marie Shields; and by one nephew, Larry Shields.

Memorials are suggested to the Willis Chapel Cemetery and may be left at the Slater Funeral Home.
