Plans are being finalized for the annual Career Fair scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 in the Ketcham Community Center on the campus of North Central Missouri College.

Career Services Director Dr. D.J. Champagne said interested exhibitors are still being accepted and may register to participate by contacting Dr. Champagne at NCMC. The cost to reserve a booth is $25, including lunch for the exhibitor.

The Career Fair will once again provide an opportunity for employers to recruit both full-time and part-time employees as well as recruit for summer help and fill internship positions. Dr. Champagne said a panel of employers and students has been planned for the 2006 Fair to discuss soft skills such as work ethics and communication as well as training and education necessary to be successfully employed.

High school seniors from the area have been invited to participate in the event scheduled to begin at 9 a,m. In addition, college students and the general public are encouraged to participate. Persons should come dressed for an interview and bring their resume.

For further information, interested exhibitors or participants may contact Dr. Champagne or Sara Kirkpatrick at 660-359-3948, ext. 407 or 331.
