Noel Breitenbucher, a 67-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Noel Breitenbucher, a 67-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Rev. Daryl Mayfield will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Cemetery at Trenton.

There is no scheduled family visitation at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.

Mr. Breitenbucher was born on Aug. 27, 1938 in Trenton, the son of V.G. and Frances Sugg Breitenbucher. He was married on Aug. 3, 1963 in Trenton to Waldean Uhrmacher, who survives of the home. He was the manager at Burdman Auto Parts for several years and retired from Trenton Municipal Utilities. He was a member of the First Christian Church and served as a deacon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Darin Breitenbucher of Merriam, KS; two daughters, Nancy Shields and her husband, Robert, of Trenton, and Beth Shields and her husband, Byron, of St. Joseph; one brother, Howard Breitenbucher of Lawrence, KS; four grandchildren, Bryce and Bailey Shields of St. Joseph and Trey and Nick Shields of Trenton; one sister-in-law, Dani Breitenbucher of Corpus Christi, TX; two nephews, John and Jeff Harvey of St. Joseph; and two nieces, Krista Buckley of Gower and Kelly Gabriel of Savannah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Joel Breitenbucher; and an infant sister.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Christian Church or the Kidney Cancer Foundation.
