Hazel Mae Crouch, a 57-year-old resident of Maquoketa, IA, died suddenly on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2005 at her home. She was the mother of Angela Dugan of Trenton.

Hazel Mae Crouch, a 57-year-old resident of Maquoketa, IA, died suddenly on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2005 at her home. She was the mother of Angela Dugan of Trenton.
A celebration of her life was held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at the Carson and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Chaplain/Celebrant Rev. Ruth Ann Scott officiated. The body was cremated and burial was in the Ozark Cemetery in rural Maquoketa.
Mrs. Crouch was born on April 26, 1948 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Charlie A. and Ruth Hazel Lazenby Wallroff. She attended Maquoketa Community High School. She was married in Delmar, IA, on Oct. 29, 1965 to Weaver D. Crouch, who survives of the home. She was a homemaker and mom to all. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club in Maquoketa, where she currently held the position of inside guard. She loved her grandchildren and family. She loved to read, play Bingo, work on crossword puzzles, socialize, fish and camp and computer games.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Theresea Hamilton and her husband, Cory, of Clinton, IA, Angela Dugan and her husband, Ward, of Trenton, and Tina Gallagher and her husband, Maury, of Amana, IA; five grandchildren; her step-father, Roger Wathier of Pleasantville, IA; and six sisters, Linda Campbell and her husband, Larry, of Maquoketa, Peggy Dannatt of Maquoketa, Connie Glaser and her husband, Dennis, of Baldwin, IA, Janet Chase and her husband, Gene, of Oxford Junction, IA, Mary Brooks and her husband, Donnie, of Maquoketa, and Gerry Wallroff of Des Moines, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Willard A. Wallroff.
The family suggests memorials to the Hazel Mae Crouch Memorial Fund.
