Rissler Elementary School students were honored during an assembly this morning for their academic achievement, behavior and citizenship, as well as artistic achievement.
Three students were chosen from each classroom to receive the academic (A), behavior (B) and citizenship (C) award, with one of those students chosen randomly to receive the Terrific Kid award. In addition, second grade students Dillon Parrack was named the Artist of the Month, for his self-portrait with creative use of imagination, whimsy and color.
