Trenton R-9 Superintendent Craig Noah will be leaving the Trenton R-9 School District, effective at the end of his contract on June 30.
Noah, who has been superintendent at Trenton the past three years, has accepted a position as superintendent of schools at Nevada. His resignation was accepted this morning during a special meeting by the Trenton R-9 Board of Education, which also voted to hire the Missouri School Boards Association to assist in the search for a new superintendent.
Board Secretary Susan Leeper said no time line has been set for choosing a replacement for Noah. However, the board is expected to meet with MSBA representatives within the next week to discuss replacement efforts.
