Robert Hagan, a 59-year-old resident of Grundy County, died on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006 at Leadville, CO, where he had gone for a skiing trip.

Robert Hagan, a 59-year-old resident of Grundy County, died on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006 at Leadville, CO, where he had gone for a skiing trip.

Arrangements are pending at the Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.

Mr. Hagan was born on April 13, 1946 in Trenton, the son of Ferril Ugene and Lois Annibel Kirkpatrick Hagan. He graduated from Trenton High School. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve in New Jersey. He had lived and farmed all his life in Grundy County. He was also a private pilot for many years. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.

He was married on July 22, 2000 in Greensboro, NC to Jo Belton, who survives of the home.

He is also survived by his parents, Ferril and Annibel Hagan of Trenton; a sister, Diana Scott and her husband, Alan, of Kearney; a daughter, Lori Jarrett of Tindall; five step-sons, Duane Baucom of Chesterville, VA, Tom Baucom of Colorado Springs, CO, Billy Baucom of Strafford, VA, Donald Gerst of Baltimore, MD and Capt. John Gerst of Peterson Air Force Base, CO; 14 grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and one grand-nephew.
